Waypoint Underwriting Management, LLC continues to invest in building infrastructure and adding personnel to support our growth and provide our capacity partners the level of service they have come to expect from Waypoint.

Kyle Gutowski, FCAS joined this month as Waypoint’s sixth actuary from the actuarial consulting firm, Merlinos.  Kyle’s experience includes pricing and reserving for various lines of business for both personal and commercial insurers, captives, risk retention groups, and regulatory departments. He achieved his ACAS in 2019 and FCAS in 2022.

Marc Bloom has held senior operations leadership positions in the Re/Insurance Industry for over 25 years. Prior to joining Waypoint, Marc served as Head of Global Operations and Chief Operating Officer – Americas for Lloyd’s. Before joining Lloyd’s, Marc was Director of Reinsurance and Insurance Operations at XLCatlin. Marc joined Waypoint in May.

Mark Truglio, with 31 years in Re/Insurance was most recently Senior Vice President, Casualty Manager at SiriusPoint where he managed the US Casualty Treaty book. Prior to joining SiriusPoint in 2017, Mark was the Assistant Director of Casualty Reinsurance at XLCatlin, US.  Mark also joined Waypoint in May.
