Kelly has worked in the insurance and reinsurance industry for 27 years.

He most recently served as Pricing Director, US Property Reinsurance at XL Catlin. Before the merger of XL and Catlin, Kelly served as Director of Reinsurance Pricing for Catlin, where he managed a team of 6 actuaries responsible for pricing all property and casualty reinsurance lines written in the US and Latin America. Prior to joining Catlin in 2008, Kelly held broking and pricing roles with increasing responsibility at Willis Re and Aon Re. Kelly started his reinsurance career in 1997 at Transatlantic Reinsurance, where he worked as an actuary and underwriter. He began his insurance career as an actuarial consultant.
