Waypoint is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Kelly Edmunds as a Principal and our Chief Actuary. Kelly is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries who brings 23 years of insurance and reinsurance experience to Waypoint.

Kelly began his career in the industry with KPMG in New York before joining AIG / Transatlantic Re where he priced and underwrote Med Mal, D&O, Lawyers Professional and Work Comp. He then gained experience producing and placing specialty reinsurance programs as a Senior Vice President at Willis Re. More recently Kelly was the Director of Reinsurance Pricing at Catlin Underwriting Inc. where he managed a team of six actuaries and had overall responsibility for pricing all P&C lines of business in the US, Latin America and the Caribbean. Just prior to joining Waypoint, Kelly held the position of Pricing Director, Property Reinsurance, North America with XL Catlin.
